Gucci: Guccio Gucci established the brand in the early 1920's in Italy. Very early on, Gucci began to be associated with quality and luxurious handbags. One of the classic innovations of a Gucci handbag is the bamboo handles which are still popular today.

If you own a Gucci handbag you will no doubt be aware of the celebrity attachment to the label. A Gucci handbag is still the fashion statement of the rich and famous with many contemporary celebrities often seen with one of them. Fendi: A Fendi handbag is probably one of the most desired fashion accessories around. It's sleek, well-crafted designs are another favorite of the famous and wealthy. The label has long been associated with the innovative designs of its long-time creative director Karl Lagerfeld.

In recent years, the Fendi Baguette has been one of the most popular handbags on the market. Its classic design and short shoulder strap makes this appealing to many women. The name Baguette refers to the way that the bag is supposed to be held under the arm, much like a French baguette.

So as you can see, owning a designer handbag is something special and helps to define a woman's appearance. Unfortunately for most girls the price tag makes these fabulous fashion accessories out of reach. However, if you know where to look you can get a bargain. Perhaps the best way to get a designer handbag at a great price is to visit the shops at the end and start of a season.
